Gigi's welcome

You know , the better way to live a city is to plunge in, so when in Rome, do as the Romans do…

Listen to me, listen to Gigi and all his friends. You can live an intense week in Rome choosing to go sight-seeing the city for monuments and museums or to take part in so many aperitif parties or night events. This is what I can offer to you: my home is for rent. But wait a moment before speaking of money… I want to explain to you everything: my home is near Termini Station close to British Embassy inside the historical walls of Rome. If you take land at Fiumicino airport the train from the air-terminal will take you directly to Termini station and from there it’s a 45 seconds long walk. If you are so lazy to take the underground it’s a one-stop trip from Termini Station to Castro Pretorio: this stop is 50 meters on the back of the block.

Once you are arrived at home you have to control the check list an then take place in the house. Obviously it is a condo so, please for me and all the other friends, behave  decorously. There is air-conditioning, internet with a flat rate, the kitchen with all  the necessary to cook a roman specialty, the bathroom, the library ( Gigi’s rule is: if you want to carry a book with you leave another book with a dedication for all the guests). Linens will be given at the start of stay with another change for the week.

Yes I know it is a royal palace so continue to let it be. Inside, you will find a paper guide of all the events and the locations to live Rome by morning, noon and night. For instance, do you know all the mysteries of the city? And I’m not speaking about the over-told mouth of truth but of all the little alleys, glimpses, landscapes and corners of a two thousands years old downtown with its mysteries and secrets, historic figures and legends. I will give to you all the information for a treasure hunt discovering a Rome that only Romans enjoy; to know where you can have a typical non-tourist meal, where you can taste the original grattachecca or the true roman cappuccino ( please don’t have it with pizza) realizing where the terms “romance” or “romantic”  are born. Try the “vida loca” in Rome not in Spain taking part at a lot and multilingual aperitif parties in piazza del Fico or in the endless alleys around Trastevere, dancing in ancient palaces or under the roman sky.

The price for a week is 500.00€, flat rate.

The payment has to be done by credit card or pay pal account. Since all payments are by electronic device we ask you a precautionary charge of 50.00€ in event of damages to the apartment ; this charge will be refunded to you after the check-out. But never mind, you ‘re not so awful and I’m not  so greed. We would agree.
